Wagner K9 School is dedicated to helping the general public acquire the knowledge and tools needed to make their dogs a loving part of the family. Obedience training establishes a line of communication between the dog and handler. The age of the dog and handler is not the issue, the technique and "Method of Obedience Training" is the determining factor of solid professional obedience training producing positive, effective results.

Walt Disney animal training method, The Seeing Eye Dog training techniques, and Dog Whisperering skills are used by Billy and Susie Wagner. All dogs are worked up to 7 times per day, receiving over 100 sessions of teaching and drilling in the following commands: Heel, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, come, no, out, and okay. In addition to learning commands, the dogs are socialized around other animals and good manners are incorporated into the obedience training program.

The Wagner's refer to their school as the original "Boot Camp." The dogs can bring their favorite toys, blanket, treats, and other personal items to school. Every dog entering "Boot Camp" is given individualized attention and training instruction in basic obedience.
Like people, every dog is different with an individual personality which demands tailored obedience training methods. Allowing adequate time for repetition during the dog's learning process, and providing dog owners thorough handling techniques is our top priority Being a small training facility, we are able to provide a lot of attention to perfecting a positive working relationship with both the dog and owner.
Susie has also perfected many training tools enabling the adults and small children to gain confidence in themselves with the family dog. Given the right instruction through proper dog handling techniques, even children can have full control over dogs twice their size.

OBEDIENCE TRAINING PROGRAMS & PRICES
Professional Obedience training is available for all dog breeds 3 1/2 months of age and older. We offer several obedience training packages. They are:
In-School Boarding and Training
3 week Basic Obedience Training Program $1025.00
4 week Basic Obedience Training Program $1225.00
Additional Weeks at $315.00 per week
Total 4-week package including leash, collar, & shampoo: $1290.00
Special discounts for two or more dogs. Please ask about this.
*Dogs of the Giant Breeds may be charged an additional fee of $50.00.
*Our 4-week deluxe package program offers over 100 sessions of repetition and unlimited handling instruction for owners. Clients may return as often as necessary to perfect their dog/handling skills or the dog/handling skills of their children at no additional fee. Or clients may return as often as they wish to advance their dog's training skills or just to have an afternoon of fun and socialization with other owners and their dogs. Clients that do not wish to leave their dog for 4 weeks can purchase the program for unlimited handling for $125.00 additional fee.
Boarding While You Are Away
*Another huge advantage of having your dog trained at Wagner K9 School is that we board only for dogs that we have trained! Since they already know the daily routine why not let them stay with us while you are away or on vacation? Your dog will be walked and worked daily, socialized and have loads of fun just as they did while here for training! And we charge only the boarding fee for their visit. IT IS HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR YOUR DOG!
