Dog Obedience Training Options
28 day in-school "Boot Camp"
Your dog will enjoy a structured daily schedule over a 28 day period while staying at our facility. Wagner K9 will work personally in the areas of foundational obedience training teaching your dog through many hours of repetition. Over 100 sessions of repetition is achieved during the 4 week training camp. After your dog is obedience trained, family members will then complete "handling" instruction at our school. This provides family teaching time personally with your dog, enabling all members to become a proficient "handler". We call this "The Dog/Handler Relationship".
Open Obedience Class (owner & K9 together)
Pre-arranged class time offered to families with their dog(s) personally over a 6 week time period (1 class weekly for 6 weeks) Wagner K9 will personally teach you obedience, foundational skills together with your k9 companion. Each week will build upon the previous skills taught and practiced for proficiency.
Behold the contented look of "Armani"
Wagner K9 Obedience Training School
The Wagners refered to their school as the original "Boot Camp."The dogs brought their favorite toys, blanket, treats, and other personal items to school. Every dog entering "Boot Camp" had always been given individualized attention and training instruction in basic obedience.
Like people, every dog is different with an individual personality which demands knowledge and patience. Allowing adequate time for repetition during the dog's learning process, and providing dog owners thorough handling techniques is our top priority. We are able to provide a lot of attention to perfecting a positive working relationship with both the dog and owner.
Susie has also perfected many training tools enabling the adults and small children to gain confidence in themselves with the family dog. Given the right instruction, through proper dog handling techniques, even children can have full control over dogs twice their size.
